Butterflies in my Stomach
I'm so scared... tommorrow is the day... 14th of July 2004 is coming. I can feel the adrenaline rushing through my body every few seconds. My hands and feet get cold everytime I think of tomorrow... MY DRIVING TEST IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh no, I'm definitely going to panick...HELP!!!
Just came back from my last driving lesson today. Got a new instructor with the instructor number of 5555. HaHa. Nice number... can go by 4D.
I hope I'm ready for tomorrow. I struck the curb today while doing the "S" course. Heard the loud shriek of the tires against the curb.
Please God, don't let me mount or strike the curb or let me do any of this kind of nonsense tomorrow. Please don't let it rain, please don't let there be heavy traffic. Please don't let any traffic lights break down, please don't let there be hazardous drivers, please don't let my car stall, please don't let my car roll back on the slope, please let my judgement be good, please let me have a nice tester, please don't let any first timer trainee driver crash into my lane, please don't let me knock down any pedestrians or jaywalkers, please don't let me kill my tester... Please please please!!!!!!!!
Oh, just messaged Andrea yesterday night. She's learning vertical parking today. Nothing to worry about. So easy. Wait till she learns parallel parking....heh=)
Tomorrow's going to be a long long day. Driving test in the morning and french singing rehearsal in the afternoon at Shangri La, Rasa Sentosa. Then the real party at night. In case you don't know, 14th of July is the French National Day.
The French ambassador's wife, Mrs Jean-Paul Reau invited the people at the Alliance Francaise French Singing Class to sing the French National anthem tomorrow. Apparently, it's the Singapore protocol to sing the Majulah Singapura as well if we want to sing a foreign national anthem. Didn't know about that one till the last moment and we had to hastily practise it. The problem is that some of them are not singaporeans. For us, Singaporeans, no problemo! It just reminds me of school days...feeling so nostalgic... oh, haha, we got to sing the Majulah Singapura twice because the length of the song must be about the same as the La Marseillaise (French National Anthem).
Thank god we are only singing 3 verses and the chorus for La Marseillaise. The original La Marseillaise is 26 verses long. Imagine if we sing that, we would have to sing the Mahjula Singapura about 20 times. Haha. Then it will we day break before we finish singing.
Haha. okay. Thats all, folks!
