"Madam", "Ma'am", "Sir"
I just came back from Prince Georges' Park - NUS' condo-like residence. I met up with my English group and we were desperately trying to finish up the project. It would have been fine if it were a logical project but it isn't. They want us to survey native Singaporeans and come up with our definition of the words, "Madam", "Ma'am" and "Sir". What's there to survey? What kind of a dumb survey is that?
but despite the dumbness of the nature of the whole project, we actually managed to get it half done. I'm so tired now.
I had lecture from 10am-12pm, followed by econs tutorial at 2pm-4pm. That tutorial was terrible because the tutor's english was terrible. He couldn't speak properly, plus a very strong chinese accent added to it. He couldn't understand us, and neither could we understand him. In the end, he had to explain the concepts in Mandarin. First time, I'm having an econs lesson in another language other than english. Its kinda weird...
Anyway, after the tutorial, I had fencing after dinner. Two hour training till 10pm. Then met for project at 11 30pm. Just reached back to the hall. And its almost 430am already.
I'm so tired, but I promised Nicolas to join the KEVII girls soccer team, which has trainings on tuesday nights.
Sigh... another day of torture..................................
