The beginning of a new semester
Today is the first day of school for most people at NUS, but for me, my first lessons don't start until Wednesday. I spent my day in NUS arguing with the OSA people about my room change to KEVII, but gave up, when the guy told me to think of the people who do not even have room accomodation on campus and how they feel. Does he think I really care? Anyway, after that I went back to the PGP office to check-in. There were so many people there all waiting to check-in. Wasted so much time and what's more? It was raining so heavily.
See? Rain so heavy. My windows all wet.
The view from my room.
Tada tada! Introducing... my room! See my room so small and empty. My bed wasn't in this position originally, but I moved it 90 degrees.
My toilet.
And most importantly... MY AIRCON!!! (which I don't think I need for the next few days)
My transponder and my move-in form.
Haha. In the NUS hostels, we use transponders instead of keys. I remember last semester, there was this girl who went up to the office staff and told them, "You didn't give me the keys to my room, how to go in?!" While saying that, she was swinging the transponder in the guy's face. Haha. Seemed quite funny then.
The dark corridor...
The claster kitchenette.
Tomorrow is a public holiday - Hari Raya. My dad will be going to JB to do some work and my mum will still be working in the office. Poor me will be driving to PGP with all my barang barang and spend the entire day cleaning up and sterilizing the room. I think someone moved into my room during the holidays.
Hmmm. It has been raining for the past 3 days. Heard that this will continue for the next 2 days or so. Sigh. So sian. Rain, rain, go away... shoo!
